United Bio Lube's Bio Volatile Corrosion Inhibitors (BVCI) provide outstanding Ultra Light Film protection of newly machined workpieces that are shipped in sealed packaging.

Bio Volatile Corrosive Inhibitors are outstanding water displacing, non-staining rust preventatives. BVCIs will rapidly separate water displaced from metal surfaces after machining operations or after alkali cleaning. When BVCI's are agitated vigorously with water or alkaline solutions, the water will separate completely and rapidly.

Bio Volatile Corrosive Inhibitors are more volatile than BCI's, allowing biobased carrier(s) to dissipate, leaving corrosion inhibitors remaining on the surface of the metal parts to prevent corrosion and wear.

Ultra Thin highly protective films can be applied. Film thickness of 0.02 mils or less have been tested in the ASTM D-1748 Humidity Cabinet on polished cold rolled steel panels.

Bio Volatile Corrosive Inhibitors provides outstanding atmospheric corrosion protection of ferrous and non-ferrous metals, even under conditions of high humidity.

Bio Volatile Corrosive Inhibitors are formulated to replace and outperform many petroleum based products. In many applications, the surface tension and viscosity specifications are equal to or outperform petroleum products.  Plus, Bio Volatile Corrosive Inhibitors are more fire resistant than petroleum based formulas with the same viscosity.

Rust Preventative Applications

Bio Volatile Corrosion Inhibitors is used in industrial metalworking applications where excellant corrosion inhibiting and easy parts clean-up is essential.

Use on equipment exposed to elements, outdoor storage of raw materials, and on finished stock.

Excellent as a preservative lubricant on Sheet Steel and Steel Parts.

Protects Raw Materials and Machined Parts

Bio Volatile Corrosive Inhibitors block oxidation from occurring on the metal's surface.

Bio Volatile Corrosive Inhibitor formulas can be used to carry corrosion inhibitors into the air, releasing the corrosion inhibiting compounds on metal surfaces, preventing corrosion. This is highly effective when added to packaging or sealed containers where the corrosion inhibition can remain as a volatile corrosion inhibitor for a longer period, protecting metal parts.

The BVCI formula allows the corrosion inhibitors to penetrate into close tolerance areas, preventing corrosion which allows for easier cleaning and/or paint preparation.
